As a mom, I am passionate about educating women on the benefits of exercising before, during, and after pregnancy. I aim to provide the highest quality, research-backed training. I equip my clients with the education and support they need to reach their goals. My ultimate objective is to help my clients lead not just healthier but also more fulfilling lives.

About Kimberly Araujo
From Disordered to Empowered!
Like many women, I developed some disordered eating and exercise habits during my teenage years. I was obsessed with my calorie intake and would restrict and then binge. And being a dancer just added more pressure to maintain the "perfect" dancer physique. I continued to study dance through college and fluctuated between skinny fat and super skinny.
I always exercised but for most of my life exercise was just a means to burn calories. Enter CrossFit. A friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit and I became hooked. And for the first time in my life I learned how to have performance-oriented goals and stopped worrying so much about my appearance. Funny enough, by focusing on getting stronger and faster, I also looked more fit and lean than ever before! I had gained much healthier eating and exercising habits and I wanted to help others do the same.
Sharing My Passion
I got my CrossFit Level 1 certificate and began coaching CrossFit on the side. I became more and more passionate about fitness and continued to learn and grow until fitness became my main career. Since then I have also earned several other highly respected fitness certifications including a Personal Trainer Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Over the past seven years, I have become a highly respected group fitness instructor and personal trainer in Southern California. I also offer personal training, online coaching, and nutrition coaching.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Personal Trainer
Early in my career, I became especially passionate about prenatal/postnatal fitness. Even before I had my own kids, I saw that pregnant and postpartum women were underserved by the fitness industry. I have worked at several gyms where I was the only female trainer. The men had no clue what to do with pregnant clients. A majority of women become pregnant at least once in their lives so not having proper resources and information available to these women just didn't make sense to me! So, I started specializing in training pregnant and newly postpartum women in 2012.
I now have two kids of my own: Kai (3) and Lakey (born November 2017). I exercised throughout both pregnancies and have experience recovering from a c-section as well as vaginal birth. In addition to my personal experience, I am also a certified Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist. I offer specialty training and nutrition services to women before, during, and after pregnancy. Helping Mama's become the best and healthiest versions of themselves is my passion!
